• Aricept 10mg Tablets 28s are yellow, round, biconvex tablets with ‘ARICEPT’ on one side and ‘10’ on the other side1.The active ingredient in Aricept is donepezil hydrochloride1.Inactive ingredients include lactose monohydrate, cornstarch, microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, and magnesium stearate1.The film coating contains talc, polyethylene glycol, hypromellose, and titanium dioxide1.


• Aricept improves the function of nerve cells in the brain by preventing the breakdown of a chemical called acetylcholine (ah SEET il KOE leen)23.People with dementia usually have lower levels of this chemical, which is important for the processes of memory, thinking, and reasoning3.


• To use Aricept 10mg Tablets 28s, follow your doctor’s instructions23.It is usually taken once a day at bedtime23.Take it with or without food23.

Caution & Warnings:

• Do not take Aricept if you are allergic to donepezil hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients in Aricept2.


• Tell your doctor if you have or have ever had heart disease; an irregular heartbeat; a heart attack; asthma or other lung disease; seizures; difficulty urinating; liver disease; or kidney disease2.


• Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant.If you become pregnant while taking Aricept, call your doctor immediately2.


• Tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed. It is not known if Aricept passes into breast milk.You should not breastfeed while using Aricept2.


• If you are having surgery, including dental surgery, tell the doctor or dentist that you are taking Aricept2.
