Product Description:

How to use:
Prior to first use:
- Disassemble, wash and rinse all 3 parts.
- Place parts in a saucepan of sufficient capacity.
- Fill with cold water until the parts are well covered.
- Heat and allow to boil for 5 minutes.
- Remove from stove and drain water.
- Dry parts with a clean towel.
After first use parts can be:
- Cleaned in top rack of dishwasher or with HOT soapy water
- Using Medela Quick Clean Microwave Bags or steam sterilized according to manufacturer’s instructions.
After each use:
- Disassemble and rinse with cold water to help remove milk protein.
- Wash all parts in warm, soapy water.
- Rinse in clear water. Dry parts with a clean towel.
- After cleaning, when parts are not in use, put in a clean zip lock bag or store in a container with lid.
- Alternatively, the parts can be wrapped in clean paper or cloth towel.
- Do not leave feeding parts in direct sunlight or heat, or leave in disinfectant (sterilizing solution) for longer than recommended by the supplier, as this may weaken the parts.
- Do not touch the inside of any parts which come in contact with breast milk or the baby’s mouth, to avoid contamination.
- When freezing, do not fill bottles/bags more than ¾ full to allow space for expansion.
- Label bottles/bags with the date of pumping.
- Do not store breast milk in the door of the refrigerator.
- It is recommended to thaw breast milk in the refrigerator overnight.
- Do not thaw frozen breast milk in a microwave or in a pan of boiling water (danger of burning).
- Gently shake the bottle/bag to blend any fat that has separated
Caution & Warnings:
- Never thaw or warm breast milk in a microwave or in boiling water. High temperatures will destroy important nutrients unique to breast milk and can increase risk of scalding baby.
- Do NOT let thawed breast milk sit out at room temperature
- Temperature of breast milk should not exceed 37°C.
- Always test temperature of breast milk before feeding to baby and ensure it does not exceed the maximum temperature of 37°C. It is better to under heat breast milk than to overheat breast milk.
