What allergen extract is used for:

• Allergen extract is used for the treatment of allergies to one or more allergens that may cause conjunctivitis, perennial or seasonal rhinitis, rhino-conjunctivitis or asthma.
• Specific desensitization by allergic extracts helps in treating the cause of your allergy.
• This product works by helping your body to get used to the allergen by providing you with regular intake of the allergen extract that is gradually increased until you reach fixed doses.
• The use of this product will lead to a decrease or disappearance or your allergy signs and symptoms and will avoid worsening of your allergy.
• Efficacy of this product lasts long time after stopping it.
• This product will clearly improve your quality of life.

Do not take allergen extract :

• If you have unstable asthma.
• If you have a very weak immune system, autoimmune diseases (your immune system attacks your own body) or malignancy (cancer).
• If you have an allergy to any of the additional ingredients present in this product.
• If you are taking beta-blockers (used to treat some heart conditions and high blood pressure).

Warnings and precautions:

• Stop the product right away and talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you develop allergic reactions to any of the product’s excipients such as shortness of breath, skin rash, swelling of the face or neck, decreased blood pressure and dizziness.
• Stop taking the treatment if you develop fever.
• Talk to your doctor if your asthma is getting worse.
• Your doctor will evaluate the need for continuing you on medicines used for symptomatic relief (e.g.
• antihistamines and corticosteroids) during your therapy with this product.
• This product contains 590 mg of sodium chloride (10 ml solution).
• Make sure to take that into consideration, if you are following a diet low in sodium.
• Allergy is a chronic disease that cannot be cured by medicines alone.

Possible side effects :

• Possible side effects include allergic reactions to the product’s excipients (e.g.itching, swelling, rash), itching in the mouth, abdominal pain, swelling of the mouth and worsening of allergy (throat irritation, cough, asthma, rhinitis).

Other medicines and allergen extract :

• Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medications including prescription medicines, over the counter medicines, herbals, vitamins and supplements.
• Talk to your doctor before starting this product if you are taking beta-blockers (used to treat some heart problems and high blood pressure) including topical beta-blockers.

How to take allergen extract :

• Your doctor will determine the dosing and concentrations that you will be taking of this product.
• The treatment prescribed may be used in different concentrations that can be distinguished from the color of the cap (10 IR / ml or IC / ml: blue cap; 100 IR / ml or IC / ml: red cap; 300 IR / ml: purple cap).
• Make sure to take your allergen extract exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Your doctor will be prescribing you a treatment that is based on a specific desensitization and divided into two steps.
• The first step consists of an initial treatment, that usually lasts around two weeks and includes doses that may increase progressively.
• The second step consists of a maintenance treatment which lasts longer than the first step and consists of an optimum tolerated dose that should be taken every day or three times a week.
• You are more likely to benefit from the treatment the sooner it is started.
• It is recommended that you take this product in the morning on an empty stomach.
• Doses are delivered by pressing on the pump (1 pressure = 1 dose) in your sublingual area (under the tongue) and held for 2 minutes before you swallow the doses.
• Use presses when taking your doses (not drops).
• Do not drink or eat for 15 minutes after taking your doses.
• Young children will require adult supervision when taking the dose.
• Your doctor will be adjusting the dosage depending on your individual sensitivity.
• Make sure to follow your doctor’s recommendations.

• You will be receiving this therapy for a total duration of 3 to 5 years.

• Desensitization is assigned and in different seasons if you have seasonal allergies.

• The efficacy of your therapy relies on the dosage and duration.
• When using the product for the first time, start by removing the colored plastic part of the cap, the pull the metal tab and make sure to completely remove the aluminum cap.
• Then, remove the gray colored stopper and remove the pump from its protective plastic container.
• Afterwards, put the vial on a flat surface and, press on the pump with one hand when keeping it firmly held in place and producing steady pressure.
• Then, proceed by removing the orange colored protective ring and start loading the pump by applying repeatedly stable pressure.
• The pump will release a full dose after loading by 5-fold pressure.
• Then, make sure to place the mouthpiece under the tongue in your mouth and press firmly to receive the prescribed dose.
• Repeat if your doctor prescribed multiple doses.
• Make sure to keep the product held under your tongue for 2 minutes.
• Finally, wipe the bottle’s nozzle after using it and insert again the protective ring.
• For subsequent dose applications, remove the protective ring, start loading the pump by applying repeatedly stable pressure.
• The pump will release a full dose after loading by 5-fold pressure.
• Then, make sure to place the mouthpiece under the tongue in your mouth and press firmly to receive the prescribed dose.
• Repeat if your doctor prescribed multiple doses.
• Make sure to keep the product held under your tongue for 2 minutes.
• Finally, wipe the bottle’s nozzle after using it and insert again the protective ring.

How to store allergen extract :

• Keep out of the reach of children and pets
• Do not use beyond the expiry date mentioned on the box
• Keep the product in its original pack to protect it from moisture and light
• Do not dispose the product in the wastewater or household waste
• Store the solution in a vertical position into its box, in a refrigerator at a temperature between 2°C and 8 °C.
• Store the healing kit at room temperature for several hours with the bottles kept in an upright vertical position during trips.

• Make sure to keep the bottle protected by a ring and stored in its original box during transport or transfer.
• Store this product in your hand luggage in case of air travel.

• Discard the product 4 months after opening it.

• Make sure to put the bottles again in the refrigerator as soon as possible.
