Product Description:

• Engerix B injection is used for active immunization against hepatitis B virus (HBV) infections caused by all known subtypes. It is suitable for use in neonates, infants, children, and adolescents up to 15 years of age who are not yet immune. Immunization with Engerix B injection is expected to help prevent hepatitis D, as hepatitis D (caused by the delta agent) cannot occur without the presence of a hepatitis B infection.

Uses:

  Engerix B injection is indicated for active immunization against Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) infection in individuals of all ages who are considered at risk of exposure to HBV.

  Immunization with Engerix B injection is also expected to prevent hepatitis D infection, as it does not occur without hepatitis B.
  
  

Contraindications:

  If you are allergic to Engerix B injection or any of the other ingredients of this vaccine.

  If you have a high temperature (fever).
