Product Description:

• Hidrasec is a fast and effective medicine for the treatment of acute diarrhea in adults.


• The active ingredient, racecadotril, works by reducing the secretion of fluid and salts into the intestine, which makes the stools less watery and helps to control the diarrhea symptoms.


• Hidrasec also helps to restore the natural balance of the intestinal flora and prevent dehydration.


• Hidrasec has a convenient capsule form that is easy to swallow and does not affect the taste or smell of food.


• Hidrasec can be used as a complementary treatment when the cause of the diarrhea is known and treated.

How To Use:

• Take one Hidrasec 100 mg capsule initially, regardless of the time of day.


• Then take one Hidrasec capsule three times a day, preferably before the main meals.


• Do not exceed 8 capsules per day.


• Do not use for more than 5 days without consulting a doctor.


• Dissolve the capsule in a glass of water if you have difficulty swallowing it.

Cautions & Warnings:

• Do not use Hidrasec if you are allergic to racecadotril or any of the other ingredients of Hidrasec (listed in section 4).


• Do not use Hidrasec if you have blood or pus in your stools, fever, chronic diarrhea, or diarrhea caused by antibiotics. These may be signs of a serious bacterial infection that requires medical attention.


• Do not use Hidrasec if you are pregnant or breastfeeding without consulting a doctor.


• Do not use Hidrasec if you have kidney or liver problems, asthma, eczema, or anaphylaxis. These may increase the risk of side effects or interactions with other medicines.


• Do not use Hidrasec in combination with other antiseptic products or mouthwashes, as they may reduce the effectiveness of racecadotril.


• If you experience severe skin reactions, such as rash, itching, swelling, or blisters, stop taking Hidrasec and seek medical help immediately. These may be signs of an allergic reaction to racecadotril.


• If your symptoms persist or worsen after 5 days of treatment, consult a doctor. You may need further tests or a different treatment.


• Keep out of reach of children.

Ingredients:

• Each capsule contains 100 mg of racecadotril as the active ingredient.


• Other ingredients include lactose monohydrate, maize starch, magnesium stearate, gelatin, titanium dioxide (E171), and indigo carmine (E132).
