About Product

How to use it

Yuwell Blood Pressure Monitor Arm Ye660d

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

  • The Yuwell YE660D is an upper-arm blood pressure monitor for checking your blood pressure and pulse at home.

  • Wrap the cuff around your upper arm, press the button, and the monitor does the rest. The results appear in large digits on a wide screen, so you can read them without leaning in or reaching for your glasses.

  • The monitor keeps your last 90 readings, which lets you look back over recent weeks and show your doctor a real record instead of trying to remember numbers.

  • It also averages your last three measurements. Blood pressure moves around from one reading to the next, so an average usually reflects your situation better than any single number.

  • Three small checks help you trust what you see: the monitor tells you if the cuff is not wrapped correctly, if you moved while it was measuring, and if it noticed an irregular heartbeat during the reading. That way you know when to simply measure again.

  • It runs on standard AA batteries you can buy anywhere, and it can also be powered from a mains adapter for daily use at home. A straightforward, no-fuss choice for adults keeping an eye on their blood pressure, and for older users who want a simple device with a clear display.

CAUTION & WARNING

Before Use

  • Read the user manual supplied with the device before first use and keep it for future reference.

  • Check that your arm circumference falls within the range printed on the cuff. A cuff that is too small or too large will not give a reliable reading.

  • Check that the cuff, tube, and device are clean and undamaged before each use.

For an Accurate Reading

  • Sit quietly for about five minutes before measuring. Sit upright with your back supported and both feet flat on the floor.

  • Rest your arm on a table so the cuff sits level with your heart.

  • Do not talk, eat, or move during the measurement.

  • Wait at least 30 minutes after coffee, tea, alcohol, smoking, exercise, or a bath before measuring.

  • Measure on a bare arm or over thin clothing, and do not roll a sleeve up tightly above the cuff.

  • Take your readings at the same time of day and on the same arm each time, so your record is consistent.

  • Wait one to two minutes between repeated measurements. Blood pressure changes throughout the day. A single high or low reading is not on its own a cause for alarm.

Who Should Take Care

  • Do not apply the cuff to an arm with a wound, a drip or catheter, a shunt for dialysis, or on the side where you have had breast surgery or lymph nodes removed.

  • People with an irregular heartbeat, a pacemaker, poor circulation, diabetes, kidney disease, or hardened arteries may get less reliable readings. Ask your doctor how to interpret your results.

  • Not intended for use on infants, young children, or anyone who cannot understand the instructions or say how they feel.

Safe Use

  • This device measures blood pressure and pulse only. It does not diagnose any condition and is not a substitute for examination by a healthcare professional.

  • The irregular heartbeat indication is a screening aid. It does not confirm or rule out any heart condition, and only a doctor can diagnose one.

  • Do not use readings from this device to start, stop, or change any medication or treatment on your own.

  • Contact a healthcare professional if your readings are consistently high or low, or if the irregular heartbeat indicator appears repeatedly. In an emergency — chest pain, severe breathlessness, fainting, weakness on one side — seek urgent medical help and do not wait to repeat a measurement.

  • Do not leave the cuff inflated on your arm for a long time. If the cuff does not deflate, remove it immediately.

  • Repeated measurements one after another can cause temporary discomfort, bruising, or tingling in the arm. Allow a rest between readings.

  • Keep the air tube clear. Do not bend, twist, or press on it during measurement.

  • Do not use near strong electromagnetic fields, mobile equipment that emits strong signals, or in an MRI environment.

  • Do not disassemble, modify, or attempt to repair the device.

  • Keep the device, cuff, and tube out of reach of children. The tube and cuff carry a risk of strangulation, and small parts are a choking hazard.

Batteries and Power

  • Use four AA batteries of the same type and brand, and insert them the correct way round.

  • Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.

  • Remove the batteries if the device will not be used for a long time.

  • Use only a mains adapter that matches the rating stated in the user manual. Do not use a damaged adapter or cable.

  • Keep batteries away from children. If a battery is swallowed, seek medical help immediately.

Cleaning, Storage, and Disposal

  • Wipe the device and cuff with a soft, dry or lightly dampened cloth, and let them dry fully before use.

  • Do not immerse the device or cuff in water, do not wash the cuff in a machine, and do not use abrasives or strong solvents.

  • Do not fold the cuff or tube tightly, and do not store them creased for long periods.

  • Store in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, and out of reach of children.

  • Dispose of the device and used batteries according to your local regulations. Do not put them in household waste.
