PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

• The Yuwell YX301 is a fingertip pulse oximeter for checking your blood oxygen saturation and pulse rate at home.


• Clip it onto your finger and press the button. Your readings appear on the colour OLED screen within seconds, so you can check yourself whenever you want without going to a clinic.


• The screen shows your oxygen saturation, your pulse rate, and a pulse waveform together on one display, alongside a perfusion index reading that tells you how strong the signal at your fingertip is. A gravity sensor turns the display the right way up automatically, so the numbers stay easy to read whether you are looking at your own hand or someone else's.


• It fits a wide range of adult finger sizes and weighs only 27 grams, so it is comfortable to hold and simple to carry in a pocket or bag. The device switches on with a single button and turns itself off after 8 seconds once you remove your finger, which helps the batteries last.

Before Use

Who Should Take Care

• Intended for adults. Do not use on infants or newborns. People with poor circulation, very cold hands, low blood pressure, or anaemia may get unreliable readings.


• Do not clip the device onto a finger with a wound, swelling, or infection.

For an Accurate Reading

• Remove nail polish, artificial nails, or any coating from the finger you are testing.


• Do not use the thumb.


• Keep your hand still and rest during measurement; movement affects the result.


• Avoid strong direct light on the device while measuring.


• Do not measure on the same arm that is being used for a blood pressure cuff or an intravenous line.


• Injected dyes in the bloodstream and certain nail or skin conditions can affect the reading.

Safe Use

• Do not use readings from this device to start, stop, or change any medication or treatment on your own.

Batteries

• Use two 1.5 V AAA alkaline batteries and insert them the correct way round.

Cleaning, Storage, and Disposal
