- A. This is normal. Albothyl selectively denatures and sheds dead or diseased tissue from the vaginal and cervical walls, which then exits the body as white or greyish tissue fragments/clots.
- Q. Can I use soap or swim during treatment?
- A. Soap: Avoid using irritating or harsh vaginal soaps and intimate washes during therapy. Use plain water or a doctor-approved gentle cleanser.
- Swimming: Swimming in pools or the sea is generally fine after the course of treatment is completely finished, not while actively using the suppositories.
- Q. Can I use Albothyl during my period (menstruation)?
- A. No. Treatment should be paused or stopped during menstruation, and restarted (if prescribed) only after the period ends.
