Indications: Who is it for?
Enhertu is used in adults to treat certain HER2-positive metastatic or unresectable breast cancer, HER2-low or HER2-ultralow breast cancer, HER2-mutant non-small cell lung cancer, and other HER2-positive solid tumors, as determined by your doctor after appropriate HER2 testing.
How to use
Enhertu is administered by a healthcare professional as an intravenous infusion in a hospital or clinic. The first infusion is given over 90 minutes, while subsequent infusions may be given over 30 minutes if well tolerated.
Dosage & Administration
The recommended dose depends on the type of cancer being treated and your body weight. Treatment is usually given once every 3 weeks, and your doctor may adjust or stop treatment depending on your response and side effects.
Warnings & Precautions
Enhertu may cause serious lung disease, heart problems, infections due to low white blood cells, and liver problems. Regular blood, heart, lung, and liver monitoring is required during treatment. It is not recommended during pregnancy, and effective contraception should be used during treatment and for the recommended period after the last dose.
Possible Side Effects
Common side effects include nausea, fatigue, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, hair loss, decreased blood cell counts, abdominal pain, fever, cough, mouth sores, headache, and increased liver enzymes. Serious side effects include interstitial lung disease, severe infections, and heart problems.
