IMJUDO contains the active ingredient tremelimumab, a monoclonal antibody immunotherapy that helps the body's immune system recognize and fight cancer cells. It is used in combination with durvalumab to treat certain types of advanced liver cancer.
Indications: Who is it for?
IMJUDO is indicated for adults with advanced or unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) that cannot be removed by surgery and may have spread within the liver or to other parts of the body. It is used in combination with durvalumab.
How to use
IMJUDO is administered by a healthcare professional as an intravenous infusion in a hospital or clinic. It is given before durvalumab, and each infusion is administered over approximately 1 hour.
Dosage & Administration
For patients weighing 40 kg or more, the recommended dose is 300 mg as a single dose. For patients weighing less than 40 kg, the dose is 4 mg/kg. Treatment is given according to the schedule determined by your doctor.
Warnings & Precautions
IMJUDO may cause serious immune-related side effects affecting the lungs, liver, intestines, kidneys, hormone-producing glands, heart, skin, nerves, or other organs. Tell your doctor if you have an autoimmune disease, have received an organ transplant, or have liver or lung problems. Regular monitoring is required during treatment.
Possible Side Effects
Common side effects include upper respiratory tract infections, pneumonia, fatigue, fever, cough, diarrhea, constipation, rash, itching, hair loss, joint pain, abnormal liver tests, and low blood cell counts. Serious immune-related reactions may also occur.
Contraindications
Do not use IMJUDO if you are allergic to tremelimumab or any of the ingredients of this medicine.
