About Product

Product Overview:

  • Neuritam (Levetiracetam) 150 ml is an anti-epileptic or anticonvulsant drug that is used alone or together with other medicines to treat certain types of seizures in people with epilepsy, including partial onset seizures, myoclonic seizures, and tonic-clonic seizures.

Key Features:

  • Levetiracetam is used to treat myoclonic seizures in people who are at least 12 years old and also used to treat primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures in people with certain types of epilepsy who are at least 6 years old.

How it Works?

  • A seizure happens when neurons in the brain, which are responsible for communicating chemical and electrical signals, suddenly fire too much. Levetiracetam binds to a protein in the brain called SV2A, which may help calm brain activity to reduce seizures.

Benefits:

  • Used to help control seizures in people with epilepsy.

Directions for Use:

  • Measure the dose using the provided syringe. Take by mouth twice daily.

Active Ingredient:

  • Levetiracetam- 100 mg/ ml

Pregnancy and breastfeeding warnings:

  • Do not start or stop seizure medication during pregnancy without your doctor's advice. It is not known if levetiracetam will harm an unborn baby, but having a seizure during pregnancy could harm both mother and baby. Ask your doctor about this risk.
