Product Description:

• The Pergoveris® pre-filled pen is available in 3 sizes: 300IU+150IU, 450IU+225IU and 900IU + 450IU. Each pre‑filled pen contains follitropin alfa and lutropin alfa in a fixed ratio of 2:1 and can deliver multiple doses of Pergoveris® 150IU/75IU. The higher number tells you how much follitropin alfa the pen contains, e.g. the 300IU+150IU pen, contains 300IU follitropin alfa and 150 IU lutropin alfa.

Why is it used?

• LH, naturally present during folliculogenesis, acts in synergy with FSH to promote follicular development and maturation.


• Pergoveris® is indicated for the stimulation of follicular development in adult women with severe LH and FSH deficiency2. Since there is no definitive cut off for defining severe LH and FSH deficiency, it must be assessed by the treating physician for each patient individually.


• There are several potential causes for severe LH and FSH deficiency.11,12 It can be congenital or acquired, it can be permanent or transient potentially contributing to a suboptimal response.
