CAUTION & WARNING

Before Use

• Read the user manual supplied with the device before first use and keep it for future reference.


• Confirm that the voltage version you have matches your mains supply. This model is supplied as either a 110–127 V or a 220–240 V unit — connecting it to the wrong supply will damage it and is unsafe.


• Use only the medication, dose, and treatment schedule prescribed by your doctor. Do not change them on your own.


• Ask your doctor or pharmacist which medication cup to use. The two cups produce different mist sizes and are intended for different parts of the airway.


• Check that the cup, tubing, mask or mouthpiece, and air filter are clean, dry, and undamaged before every session.


• Wash your hands before preparing the medication.

Medication

• Use medication only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.


• Do not put essential oils, undiluted liquids, oily preparations, thick suspensions, tap water, or homemade mixtures into the cup. These are not safe to inhale and can damage the device.


• Do not exceed the maximum fill level of the medication cup.


• Prepare medication fresh for each session and do not leave leftover medication in the cup.

Electrical Safety

• Plug the device directly into a wall socket. Check that the cable and plug are undamaged before each use.


• Do not handle the plug or the device with wet hands.

Safe Use

• Keep the air vents clear at all times. Blocking them makes the compressor overheat.

• Do not tilt, shake, or move the device during a session, and keep the medication cup upright.


• Do not insert anything into the openings of the device.

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Unplug the device and let it cool before cleaning. Wipe the main unit with a soft, lightly dampened cloth. Never immerse it in water.


• Do not wash the air tubing. Replace it as the manual directs.


• Check and replace the air filter at the intervals given in the manual. A dirty filter reduces performance.

• Replace the medication cup and accessories as the manual directs — they wear out with use.
