About Product

Yuwell Blood Pressure Monitor Wrist YE8800AR

  • PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

    • The Yuwell YE8800AR is a rechargeable wrist blood pressure monitor and the most fully equipped wrist model in the Yuwell range.

    • You wear it on your wrist like a watch and press one button. There is no arm cuff to wrap and no tube to connect, so a measurement takes seconds and you can do it yourself without rolling up a sleeve.

    • It speaks your result out loud as well as showing it on the lit display. That helps if your eyesight is limited, if you are measuring in a dark room, or if you would simply rather listen than read.

    • Because a wrist reading depends on holding your arm at the right height, the monitor tells you when your wrist is in the correct position. It also warns you if the band is not fastened properly or if you moved while it was measuring, and it flags an irregular heartbeat if it detects one during the reading — so you can tell a reliable result from one worth taking again.

    • The monitor stores your last 74 readings and can average your last three, which reflects your situation better than a single number. It also connects to your phone, so you can keep a longer record and share it with your doctor.

    • The built-in rechargeable battery means no buying batteries — you top it up over a USB cable, the way you charge a phone. At about 109 grams it slips easily into a bag for work or travel.

    • A good fit for adults who want a monitor that is quick to use every day, easy to hear and read, and simple to take with them.

    CAUTION & WARNING

    Before Use

    • Read the user manual supplied with the device before first use and keep it for future reference.

    • Check that your wrist circumference falls within the range printed on the cuff. A cuff that does not fit will not give a reliable reading.

    • Check that the cuff and device are clean and undamaged before each use.

    • Charge the device before first use, as described in the manual.

For an Accurate Reading — Important for Wrist Monitors

    • Wrist readings are more sensitive to arm position than upper-arm readings.

    • Hold your wrist at the same height as your heart for the whole measurement, and use the position indicator to check this.

    • Rest your elbow on a table and support your arm, rather than holding it up unsupported.

    • Sit quietly for about five minutes before measuring. Sit upright with your back supported and both feet flat on the floor.

    • Fasten the cuff on a bare wrist, about one to two centimetres below the palm, snug but not tight.

    • Do not talk, eat, or move during the measurement.

    • Wait at least 30 minutes after coffee, tea, alcohol, smoking, exercise, or a bath before measuring.

    • Take your readings at the same time of day and on the same wrist each time, so your record is consistent.

    • Wait one to two minutes between repeated measurements.

    • Blood pressure changes throughout the day. A single high or low reading is not on its own a cause for alarm.

    Who Should Take Care

    • Wrist measurement is less suitable for people with poor circulation, diabetes, hardened arteries, or very low blood pressure, because the reading at the wrist may differ from the reading at the upper arm. Ask your doctor whether a wrist monitor is right for you.

    • Do not apply the cuff to a wrist with a wound, a drip or catheter, a shunt for dialysis, or on the side where you have had breast surgery or lymph nodes removed.

    • People with an irregular heartbeat or a pacemaker may get less reliable readings. Ask your doctor how to interpret your results.

    • Not intended for use on infants, young children, or anyone who cannot understand the instructions or say how they feel.

    • If you are pregnant or have pre-eclampsia, use the monitor only as directed by your doctor.

    Safe Use

    • This device measures blood pressure and pulse only. It does not diagnose any condition and is not a substitute for examination by a healthcare professional.

    • The irregular heartbeat indication is a screening aid. It does not confirm or rule out any heart condition, and only a doctor can diagnose one.

    • Do not use readings from this device to start, stop, or change any medication or treatment on your own.

    • Contact a healthcare professional if your readings are consistently high or low, or if the irregular heartbeat indicator appears repeatedly. In an emergency — chest pain, severe breathlessness, fainting, weakness on one side — seek urgent medical help and do not wait to repeat a measurement.

    • Do not leave the cuff inflated on your wrist for a long time. If the cuff does not deflate, remove it immediately.

    • Repeated measurements one after another can cause temporary discomfort, bruising, or tingling in the hand. Allow a rest between readings.

    • Do not use near strong electromagnetic fields, mobile equipment that emits strong signals, or in an MRI environment.

    • Do not disassemble, modify, or attempt to repair the device.

    • Keep the device and cuff out of reach of children. It is not a toy, and small parts are a choking hazard.

    Battery and Charging

    • Charge only with a Micro-USB cable and power source matching the rating stated in the user manual. Do not use a damaged cable or adapter.

    • Do not charge the device while it is being worn or while taking a measurement.

    • Stop using the device if it becomes hot, swollen, or damaged during charging.

    • The lithium battery is built in. Do not attempt to remove or replace it yourself, and do not expose the device to fire or high heat.

    Cleaning, Storage, and Disposal

    • Wipe the device and cuff with a soft, dry or lightly dampened cloth, and let them dry fully before use.

    • Do not immerse the device or cuff in water, do not wash the cuff in a machine, and do not use abrasives or strong solvents.

    • Keep liquid away from the Micro-USB port, and make sure the port is dry before charging.

    • Do not fold the cuff tightly or store it creased for long periods.

    • Store in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, and out of reach of children.

    • Dispose of the device according to your local regulations for electronic equipment with a built-in battery. Do not put it in household waste.
