Product Description

Zoladex LA 10.8 mg contains goserelin, an LHRH analogue that reduces the production of certain hormones in the body. In men, it lowers testosterone levels to help treat prostate cancer. In women, it lowers estrogen levels to treat hormone-dependent breast cancer.

Indications: Who is it for?

Zoladex LA is used in men to treat prostate cancer and in women to treat hormone-dependent early or advanced breast cancer.

How to use

Zoladex LA is administered by a doctor or nurse as an implant injected under the skin of the abdomen. Continue treatment as directed by your doctor and attend all scheduled appointments.

Dosage & Administration

The recommended dose is one 10.8 mg implant injected every 12 weeks. Your doctor will determine the duration of treatment.

Warnings & Precautions

Inform your doctor if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, osteoporosis, urinary problems, or depression. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Bone thinning may occur during treatment, and regular medical follow-up is recommended.

Possible Side Effects

Common side effects include hot flushes, sweating, reduced sex drive, injection site reactions, mood changes, headache, joint pain, skin rash, changes in blood pressure, bone thinning, and increased blood sugar levels.

Contraindications

Do not use Zoladex LA if you are allergic to goserelin or any of its ingredients, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Other ingredient: Lactide/glycolide copolymer.

Storage Instructions

Store below 25°C in the original package. Do not break the seal. Keep out of the sight and reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
