Blemil Plus Baby Milk Preterm 400 gm

Blemil Plus Preterm is a highly digestible milk formula with high nutritional value, specially prepared to meet the increased needs of premature and low birth weight babies. It’s suited to their level of maturity to maximize milk tolerance and nutritional gains. On top of that, it’s fortified with nutrients essential for premature or low birth weight babies, like long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids omega-3 and omega-6 (DHA and ARA), nucleotides, and zinc, which help support the development of the baby’s digestive and immune systems.

Blemil Plus Preterm contains:

- Higher calorie density than regular infant formula and follow-on milk (81 kcal/100 ml)  

- Proteins: It has a high protein concentration with a balanced ratio of whey/casein proteins (65/35), suitable for the maturity level of preterm infants  

- It also contains nucleotides, which are linked to faster weight gain in preterm and low birth weight infants, and play a role in the development of the digestive and immune systems  

- It includes taurine and L-carnitine, which are essential for fat metabolism and energy production, and are important for the development of the central nervous system and retina  

- Carbohydrates: Combines lactose and maltodextrin in equal amounts, reducing the osmolarity of the formula and ensuring good digestion and absorption of carbohydrates, which provide energy for growth, bone development, and brain function  

- Fats: 17% of the fat content is in the form of easily digestible and absorbable medium-chain triglycerides (MCT), providing immediate energy. Long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids Omega-3 and Omega-6 have been added as well.

(Docosahexaenoic acid and arachidonic acid) are important for the healthy development of the central nervous system, vision, and the baby's immune system. Vitamins and minerals: It has vitamins and minerals that cover the baby's daily needs and is especially rich in selenium and vitamin E, both strong antioxidants. They help prevent the oxidation of long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (LC-PUFAs) and keep them intact for the best nutritional benefit. Its zinc content also helps the immune system mature, since lack of zinc can affect the baby's growth.
